Sony Xperia 5 V launch confirmed for September 1; new announcement teaser reveals
With the release of its promotional film, the Sony Xperia 5 V, rumored to be the follow-up to last year’s flagship model Sony Xperia 5 IV, has gained attention. The smartphone’s debut date has now been disclosed by the company.
This will be the third smartphone the company has released this year, following the introduction of the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V. An earlier source claims that the Xperia 5 V would launch with a dual back camera set and that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will likely power it.
The Japanese tech giant announced the release date of the Xperia 5 V in a video that was posted on X. As previously said, the smartphone launch is set to begin at 4 PM local time (12.30 PM IST) on September 1. The business hasn’t provided any other information regarding the impending phone’s features or specifications, though.
The smartphone may come in three color options: black, blue, and white, according a prior source. At the back, it is anticipated to have a dual camera system. On the back of the Xperia 5 V, the rear cameras will probably be arranged vertically beside an LED flash.
